We have started creating our garden indoors! A few students helped Mrs. Gregg & Mrs. Shearer plant seeds into growing trays. We used organic potting soil and organic fruit and vegetable seeds. The students have continued doing a great job to make sure the seedlings are moist! The seedlings will stay inside, using the grow-table system, until they are ready to be transplanted to the outdoor garden.
These seedlings include: tomatoes, peppers, winter squash, lettuce, basil. Other seeds will be directly planted into the raised beds once the weather warms up a bit more! |
