Middleton's Gilbert Garden had a tremendously successful 1st summer and fall!
.
The amount of vegetables and herbs harvested allowed for many many salads and pesto and salsa tastings to be enjoyed by all! 1st and 2nds graders were excited to harvest pumpkins for their classrooms.
.
We would like to thank Home Depot for their generous grant and time to build the structure for our garden and greenhouse, the PTA for our wonderful grant that has provided a picnic table and will allow us to construct one more garden bed, Middleton families who have volunteered their time and care to garden maintenance, the garden enrichment group, and Mrs. Ebersole's mother, Janet, who graciously donated her time and many flower bulbs so we can look forward to having more color and butterflies added to our garden in the spring.
.
Please continue to view the Gilbert Garden Weebly (supported by Middleton parent Mr. Steiner), by going to the Middleton Home web page and click on Gilbert Garden (on the left side - near a picture of a sunflower), to enjoy photographs and information.
